Quicksmart Backpack Stroller
If you are looking for an ultra light stroller, look no further than the Quicksmart Backpack Stroller. This stroller folds neatly into a backpack for easy transportation. What a great feature!
Such a stroller will obviously have some limitations, but it is designed for a specific niche in the stroller market and it is well designed for that purpose.
This is not just a lightweight stroller, it’s an ULTA light stroller.
The Quicksmart seat is fairly narrow and small, but in saying that, a small 4 year old toddler can fit into it very comfortably, and even fall asleep.
The seat does not have a recline so if a small baby fell asleep the head would roll from side to side. Its not recommended for a 14 month old child, as the legs tend to hang over the edge from the knees. Its OK for a small baby, but not for long periods of time.
The seat angles up slightly at the front and has a Plastic foot rest.
The seat has a dimension of 47cm or (18.5 inch) High, and 19cm or (7.5) inches wide.
The seats narrowest point is 24cm or (9.5) inch deep
The Quicksmart Backpack Stroller has an adjustable harness it also has a buckle that can be strong and sometimes difficult to do up so be careful that it does not snag your hands
The hood on the stroller is small and would provide some shade from the sun providing the sun was in the right position, but saying that, it would not protect the child from the waist down from the sun.
The good thing about the hood is it can be packed away behind the seat the bad thing is it covers up where you would store things. So you may not want to use it, but you can always take it off.
If you have a small stature the Backpack Stroller is good for you, as it only measures 93 cm (38 inch).
I would not recommend it for a taller person as you could end up with slouched shoulders.
Unfortunately, the Quicksmart does not have a basket underneath but it does have a pocket at the back of the seat which is mesh, were you can put drinks and diapers.
Quicksmart wheels can be small, they are made of plastic which is hard.
I would not recommend them for going over rough surfaces, as the vibration can be rough for a child. When you go over a surface that is flat they can work well.
The Quicksmart Backpack stroller has brakes on the wheels at the rear end, which are easy to use. All you do is push down on the lever on both wheels.
The lever is red so you can easily find it.
Some may find that at first use they be a little stiff.
This stroller is very small and compact. It fits right into an easy to carry backpack. Its perfect for travelling by air. It is small enough to be taken on board and stored on Domestic flights. The folding process is a little complicated, but you soon get used to it.
To store it in the luggage compartment of your vehicle, it does not have to be collapsed fully.
